Stacy and Babajide were completely surprised when they saw their infant boys, who looked nothing similar except for their huge brown eyes.

Stacy and Babajide of Lagos made the decision to have more children after bringing their lovely daughter into the world.

Therefore, when they learned they were pregnant once more, they were ecstatic to learn that they would be having twin boys this time!

The 31-year-old mother was ecstatic to believe that their twin boys, Daniel and David Omirin, were doing well when she underwent a cesarean section. The arrival of their sons, however, left Stacy and Babajide speechless.

The twins arrived minutes apart but couldn’t have been more different from one another than their stunning wide brown eyes.

Daniel is similar to their five-year-old sister Demilade in that both have dark skin and black curly hair. David has golden locks and fair skin. Both parents are black.

‘While I was pregnant, we were unaware of their disparities. The scan did not indicate this, so when the first twin, Daniel, emerged with black hair and the second twin, David, emerged with gold hair, it was a great surprise and the most incredible moment.

The doctors told me that since I had them through CS, ‘It seems you are getting entirely unidentical twins.’ Before I knew it, nurses were entering the room to examine them.

Although Stacy fell in love right away, she wasn’t sure how Babajide would feel.
Their father was so overjoyed that he instantly gave My Twin 2 (David) the nickname ‘Golden,’ and now he calls him Mr. Golden.

He was pleased to meet his boys. He remained there for more than ten minutes, gazing at them, and claimed that he was simply admiring God’s beautiful creation and that they were the best gift ever.

Lack of melanin, the pigment created in the skin, hair, and eyes, results in albinism, a hereditary disorder. It has no regard for race or gender and can harm anyone.

There is a one in 3,000 to one in 20,000 risk of being born with albinism. David has oculocutaneous albinism, which is why he has golden curls and light skin.

Fortunately, David doesn’t have any health complications, despite the fact that some people with albinism can develop eye problems. According to statistics, Nigeria has one of the highest rates of albinism worldwide.

In Sub-Saharan Africa, estimates range from one in 5,000 to one in 15,000 people, according to the World Health Organization. According to the NGO Under the Same Sun, one in 20,000 people in Europe and North America have the illness.

Even yet, despite the fact that there are over two million albinos living there, they frequently face discrimination. Thankfully, Stacy has never overheard anyone say anything negative about her sons.

Every time we go out, there are always side conversations. People want to know how and what’s going on, and perhaps because they are so charming and adorable, you simply want to approach them and say hello.

The family has been contacted regarding the young boys modeling because the youngsters are so beautiful. In order for people to learn more about David’s albinism and to follow the boys as they grow up, Stacy set up an Instagram account.

Because we think they have a story to tell the world and also as a means of raising awareness, we made an account for them.

Despite being identical twins, the boys have several minor distinctions. David prefers to take a back seat and watch the environment whereas Daniel is more outgoing.

David is a little more picky about his food, while Daniel gobbles it up. However, they are both nice, active little guys. We felt as though a miracle had been bestowed upon us because they are so adorable.

Because Stacy is a fashion designer and the boys are constantly dressed very smartly, she frequently gets inquiries regarding their parentage.

‘Excuse me madam, which one of the kids is yours?’ is a common phrase. People look at me as if I’m joking when I just say that both of them are mine.

But even as their mother, I was taken aback when they were born. I wasn’t sure what to expect when the doctor informed me that my kids weren’t similar. I was stunned when I realized they had varied complexion and hair colors, so I’m not surprised if other people are as well.
