After 25 years of marriage, Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavin have decided to divorce. ET is able to confirm that Flavin divorced on Friday in Florida.
She wants to continue residing in the couple’s Palm Beach, Florida, house throughout the divorce process, according to the document. She also thinks her husband is keeping the family’s assets a secret.
‘According to information and belief, the Husband intentionally wasted, depleted, and/or wasted marital assets, which had a negative financial effect on the marital estate.
According to Florida Statutes, Section 61.075, equity requires that the wife get an unequal distribution of the marital assets in order to make her whole and recompense her.
A prohibition against the Husband selling, transferring, assigning, encumbering, or disposing of any assets should also be issued while the case is still pending ‘study the divorce papers.
Flavin has also requested that Stallone not be allowed to shift any of their marital assets and that her last name be kept.
Through his agent, Stallone responded to the breakup, telling ET, «I cherish my family. We are resolving these private matters peacefully and in private.»
ET has also contacted Flavin for a response.
The couple’s separation—which was originally reported by Closer—comes after earlier this week, when it was said that the 76-year-old actor had covered up a tattoo of his wife on his bicep with new ink.
Zach Perez, an artist, posted several since-deleted images that exposed the cover-up. A picture of Butkus, the bull mastiff that appears in Sly’s classic role as Rocky, took the place of Flavin’s visage.
Fans were lead to believe that there was trouble for the longstanding couple in paradise due to the cover-up, but Stallone’s representative at the time assured the Daily Mail that there was no need for concern.
The spokesman issued a statement saying, ‘Mr. Stallone intended to update the tattoo image of his wife Jennifer, but the results were unpleasant and, sadly, unfixable.’
‘He was forced to conceal the original image with a tattoo of Butkus, his Rocky-themed dog. Mr. Stallone cherishes his relations. A reality show starring the Stallones is now under production and will air on Paramount+.’
But there was more to worry about than just the ink. Fans also observed that Flavin appeared to have unfollowed her husband on Instagram. Flavin and Stallone are the parents of three daughters: Sophia (25), Sistine (24), and Scarlet (20).

In May, Stallone and Flavin celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary since getting hitched in 1997. Along with several pictures of him and Flavin, Stallone gushed, ‘Happy 25th anniversary to my lovely wife.
‘I want this incredible woman could live another 25 years because there are simply not enough words to express how much she has meant to our lives. I’m grateful, honey.’
Flavin responded to the actor’s statement in the comments. ‘Thank you my love! We are going to spend the next 25+ years together since I adore you so much! I’m yours for the rest of my life if you can keep me laughing,’ she added.
