1 yogurt (save the container because we will use it as a measure)
3 eggs
3 measures of flour
2 measures of sugar
1 measure of sunflower oil
1 envelope of chemical yeast or baking powder 1 pinch of salt
4 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 tablespoon of vanilla essence Butter and flour to grease the mold (or baking paper)


1.- We start by whitening the eggs with the sugar. We beat very well until we obtain a very homogeneous mixture and with a whitish tone.

2.- Once done, add the yogurt and oil. We continue mixing by hand or with a stick mixer.

3.- Now is the time to add the dry ingredients. Add the sifted flour, salt and yeast so that they do not form lumps. We keep mixing.

4.- Divide the dough into two bowls and in one of them add the 4 tablespoons of cocoa, mix and in the other the essence of vanilla. Forming two dough, one of vanilla sponge cake and the other of chocolate sponge cake.

5.- To form that marbling or the zebra cake, we are going to gradually add the dough of one and the other in a greased mold without actually intermixing, that is, letting it fall. When it rises, that characteristic pattern will be formed.

6.- Preheat the oven to 180ΒΊ and introduce heat up and down for about 45 minutes. If we click with a toothpick and see that it is still fresh, you can extend the time to 50 minutes.

7.- Unmold and let cool on a wire rack.
