Some people are born into a life of religion, while others are not. From time to time, a phenomenon occurs that leads those who do not follow a spiritual path to reconsider their idea of the universe. Of course, there will always be those who try to reason with their own logic. However, in March, a picture was taken which sparked debate between believers and non-believers.
A resemblance of Jesus
Alfredo Lo Brutto, from Acropolis, was struck by a view that drove him to snap up a pick. To him, the figure he saw looked much like Jesus Christ hanging right on the horizon over the ocean. It was created by the light shining through the clouds, but to many people who saw it, it was divine intervention at work.
Alfredo was interviewed by the Daily Mail, during which he said: “I was enchanted by the view. I don’t often share pictures on social media, but when I took this one, I instantly felt like I wanted other people to see it, because it was so beautiful.”
The picture went viral, and many people have shared Alfredo’s belief that it looks like Jesus. Some people said it looked just like the statue in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, known as Christ the Redeemer. Some skeptics said that it might look like the biblical figure, but the only intervention at play was nature. They say it is simply the cloud formation that allowed the slight to shine in a way that made the figure’s shape. Pareidolia at its finest.
One of the comments on the picture was from someone who was clearly inspired. They felt the significance of it was strong. It read: “Either way whether we believe it as a sign or we don’t it is again another image out of the ordinary. God works in mysterious ways this to me is definitely a sign with a purpose. The bible says Jesus Christ will return. Let this image be noted.”
Other Inspiring cloud formations
Clouds have a tendency to move in and out of shapes that remind of something we have seen in reality. Although, many people believe these are significant signs of biblical a source. The photo taken by Alfredo that resembled Jesus was not the only picture that has taken the internet by storm. In 2018, a man named Danny Ferraro was driving with his wife, Carmen Ferraro. Out of the blue, they saw a magnificent sight in the sky. The clouds had formed the shape of an angel and she was hanging over Highway 105 in Montgomery
People interviewed Danny about the sighting, because after he posted the picture it went viral. Danny said: “I immediately noticed the cloud formation and the brilliant rays of sun straight ahead of us and I told Carmen, ‘Wow, look at that!’ We both saw the angel and felt it meant that everything would be okay.”
He went on to say: “I just felt like God was saying, ‘I’m always with you.’ I don’t know how many others saw it, but I’m sure it meant something special to everyone who did.”
