Billy Ray Cyrus recently shared the news that he is engaged to the Australian singer Firerose, who is 34 years old.
During a recent interview with People, the singer, who is 61 years old, discussed his romance and confirmed the rumor that he is in a relationship. Firerose revealed that Cyrus popped the question to her back in August, mentioning that he didn’t drop down on one knee to do it and that she didn’t choose her ring until much later.
“Billy gave me a questioning look and asked, “Do you, do you want to marry me?” And I was like, ‘Well, of course, I do,’ she said. “I love you,” she went on to say. “He told me, ‘I love you,’” she recalled. I’d like to put this in writing for the record. I want to spend the rest of my life with you.’”
